Recognition for PM Property Lawyers in top conveyancing award

PM Property Lawyers has been Highly Commended in the Outstanding Commitment to Training category at the 2018 Modern Law Conveyancing awards.

The awards recognise innovation and achievement in the conveyancing sector, with the expert judging panel looking for firms that have achieved the highest standards in their category. The ceremony was held on 12 July at the Rum Warehouse in Liverpool.

Harvey Harding, Managing Director of PM Property Lawyers, has made training and development of the team a priority.

Harvey Harding said:

“It’s absolutely crucial for the team to keep learning and growing. As well as developing successful careers and creating the property lawyers of the future, it means that the quality of customer service we can provide is continually improving. This is more important than ever as client expectations are constantly on the rise.”

The Sheffield-based firm has grown rapidly over the last five years and now has a team of 60 handling residential conveyancing transactions from all over England and Wales. The innovative ‘PM Passport’ scheme gives the opportunity for all team members to train as property lawyers and offers a thorough grounding in property law.

Conveyancing Training Manager, Sarah Thornton, added:

“We offer training to everyone in the team, whether they start with us straight from school or with a university law degree. In fact, one of our property lawyers who started as an apprentice has just been shortlisted in the Young Conveyancer of the Year category in another prestigious industry award. So we know our programme is really effective at producing excellent property lawyers. And the training continues for everyone as there is always more to learn, even for our most experienced team members.”

PM Property Lawyers has also been shortlisted in the Best Direct Conveyancing Firm category in the Law Firm Services Awards. The winner will be announced on 19 September.
