Property and construction managers want the Conservative Party to win

Just over half (51%) of managers and executives in the property and construction industry want a Conservative Party-led government.

The Labour Party ranks second with 23%, followed by the Liberal Democrats at 19%.

Keith Griffiths, managing director of Built Environment Networking, said:

“The majority of property and construction industry leaders feel that the Conservative Party will best support the industry.

“The sector plays a vital role in driving economic growth and development in UK plc so, post-election, whichever party or parties secure power, we will continue to gauge how supported the industry feels by the new government and, when necessary, lobby for greater investment and support.”

In terms of other parties, the Green Party secured 4% of the vote, the Brexit Party attracted 1% and 2% are voting ‘other’.
