Community-driven legal company set to bouquet someone’s day

A legal firm has launched a mission to brighten up the lives of the lonely during lockdown with a special campaign set to Bouquet Someone’s Day.

Owner of Home Legal Services, Maria Barrigan, is known for her philanthropic work within the community; volunteering to organise charity events such as Zoe’s Place annual Christmas Party and working with Claire House during their Christmas Carol event.

Maria’s experience within her own family and neighbourhood during lockdown has led her to create a special competition in which people can nominate those who need a little pick-me-up to receive a stunning bouquet of flowers.

Speaking on why Maria chose this campaign, she said:

“My parents are my absolute world, I went from being able to visit them every day, sometimes even twice a day, to not being able to visit them at all during lockdown. Being in their 70s and with health conditions, the restrictions hit them hard and I knew it was important to keep them feeling positive.

“So, I began taking surprise gifts to my parents and their neighbours, stopping to chat and checking in on how they were feeling. I could see how the gesture made them happy, it broke up the long and lonely summer nights for them and I simply want to make other people smile during this testing time.”

Whether it’s an exhausted NHS worker, a lonely neighbour or maybe a much-loved and missed Mum and Dad, whatever your reason, your gesture will brighten that person’s day.
