TV’s Phil Spencer to host the most prestigious Propertymark qualifications event to date

Propertymark Qualifications is set to host the biggest ever qualifications ceremony, celebrating the achievement and talent of more learners than ever before.

The UK awarding body provides professional qualifications for the leading sector brands and saw nearly 7,000 new learners register for a qualification, going on to take more than 10,600 exams. With increased appetite for qualifications and apprenticeships, the upcoming ceremony will be the largest gathering of its kind, scaled up to raise the roof on the sector’s success.

The awards ceremony will be held on 11 October at the stunning location of the renowned British Museum in London.

TV personality and founder of Move iQ, Phil Spencer will host and present the event. Given the partnership between Propertymark and Move iQ, who share advice to help educate consumers on the risks of using an unqualified agent, Phil is keen to celebrate the future stars of the sector.

Phil said:

“I’m delighted to be part of the Propertymark Qualifications ceremony, to celebrate the hard work of everyone achieving their qualifications and support how this then filters through to the quality of advice and service their clients receive.

“These qualifications have the huge potential to accelerate professional standards for the sector and is something I completely endorse.”

In addition, Propertymark Qualifications will be offering learners the opportunity to take centre stage, literally, and receive their accolade from Phil Spencer at the Ceremony.

Michael Smith, Head of Propertymark Qualifications, comments:

“I am thrilled that so many leading agents across the sector are choosing to qualify with Propertymark Qualifications and this year’s event is set to be our greatest ever. This event is testimony to a sector that is getting qualified on an unprecedented scale, taking control of its future and tackling the challenges ahead.

“The appetite to get qualified and document your credentials truly reflects the professionalism of agents and the attraction of careers in the industry. I can’t wait to welcome everyone.”

Propertymark Qualifications will give a platform to those who achieved outstanding results in their examinations and apprenticeship assessments.

In addition to this, learners can be nominated up until 5 September in three categories:
  • Learner of the Year: Have you embraced learning with passion and shown commitment to applying your skills?
  • Rising Star: Have you been in the sector for less than three years leaving your mark by delivering tangible benefits to your employer?
  • Employer of the Year: Does your company promote a learning culture and create an environment in which people flourish and support employees working towards their qualification or apprenticeship assessment?

If this is you, Propertymark urges you to get a member of your team to nominate you before 5 September.

This will be a must-attend-event, but tickets are limited. To find out more, including the award nomination criteria and how to nominate, visit here.
