Inspired by the transformation of the insurance industry through comparison sites, which have made it easier for smaller brands to compete with the larger firms, The Law Superstore aims to modernise the legal services sector by generating high quality, verified online leads.

reallymoving, the market-leading comparison site for home movers, bought The Law Superstore in 2017 and has undertaken major restructural work to ensure the new model meets the demands of consumers searching for legal services, such as wills and divorces, online, while offering fairness and visibility to providers.

CEO Rob Houghton says:

“With two decades of experience in the industry, reallymoving has learnt a lot about what customers want, as well as how to successfully support partners seeking leads. We know most people don’t feel comfortable instructing a lawyer online, but they do turn to the internet to research and source what they need. Our model offers our legal service partners reach and visibility with minimal effort and provides leads that are ready to be converted.”

The new model sees The Law Superstore following in reallymoving’s footsteps, providing verified leads to be converted, rather than highly priced instructions. It aims to provide four quotes for each enquiry, offering a choice of local providers where available, alongside online or phone-based firms.

The site also now offers geo-targeting to allow lawyers to determine which services they want to offer in which area. The bespoke qualification process, used to generate quotes and match consumers and small businesses to legal service providers, is unique in the industry.

The most popular services on the site are concerned with buying and selling property, drafting joint and individual wills, starting divorce proceedings and establishing child residency.

Rob Houghton continues:

“The Law Superstore is a comparison of services, not a price comparison. We know from our research that people don’t choose the cheapest option – they look at reviews, location and many other factors.”

Research from the SRA confirms that only 6% of people go for the cheapest solicitor, with the company’s reputation mattering more to them.

With reallymoving providing leads for over £600 million worth of work to its conveyancing partners in the last ten years, it is confident that rolling that out to other legal services is good news for lawyers, and those looking to find them.

Harvey Harding of PM Law in Sheffield said:

“PM Law has worked with reallymoving for many years, so we were keen to extend that relationship to The Law Superstore.  The leads we receive for a broad range of legal services and the ability to precisely target client locations and specific legal needs, is proving a valuable source of growth for our business.”

The Law Superstore is rapidly growing its panel, offering free no-commitment trials to enable firms to assess the quality of the leads before committing.  Firms wanting to find out more can call James Hatch on 0330 223 4500, or visit https://www.thelawsuperstore.co.uk/partners.
