Smartr365 adds Nationwide for Intermediaries for automated decisions in principle

Smartr365 has today added Nationwide for Intermediaries into the lender panel within its platform, offering automated mortgage application submission thanks to an API-free connection between the two services.

This API-free connection has been developed by Smartr365 so brokers using its platform can now obtain an automated decision in principle from Nationwide, from within Smartr365.

James Storer, a Capricorn financial Consultancy and Smartr365 user, comments:

“By using Smartr365 I can now submit DIPs to Nationwide without having to leave the Smartr365 portal. This makes life much quicker and easier for myself and my administrator. This saves us 1 hour per case, in addition to all of the other time-saving benefits that Smartr365 brings, in particular the client portal. Saving time on admin tasks is a major aim of mine, as it allows me to focus on the more valuable, advice-related aspects of the job. Adding the Nationwide integration to Smartr365 alongside the one they already have with Halifax allows me to submit 25-30% of my business at the touch of a button. This is revolutionising how we work and with further major lenders scheduled to go live in the next few weeks I am looking forward to submitting 2/3rds of my business in this fashion soon.”

Conor Murphy, CEO, Smartr365, comments:

“Smartr365 is built by brokers for brokers. We know what the bottlenecks are and we’re doing everything we can to eliminate them and automate as much of a broker’s administrative tasks as possible. Time is money in the intermediated mortgage market and everything we do at Smartr365 is about helping our brokers to save time, deliver outstanding customer service and make more money.”

Mortgage application information gathered through Smartr365’s automatic fact find is now automatically entered into the Nationwide intermediary portal.  All the broker has to do is to submit of the application for approval. Smartr365 users receive a decision in principle with one click. The process does not depend on an API, but is a direct connection between the Nationwide and Smartr365 services.
