RPSA and SLC Announce Preferred Survey Supplier Arrangement

The Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) and the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) have entered into a preferred supplier arrangement under which RPSA will offer a range of quality surveying products to SLC members.

These include a level 2 Home Condition Survey, a “full structural” Building Survey and a new Buy to Let Survey, targeted at landlords, which is unique amongst surveying products. SLC members can refer their clients directly to the RPSA Surveyor Panel who will make all the arrangements to supply them with the quality assured products appropriate to their individual needs.

Alan Milstein, Chairman of RPSA, said:

‘We are delighted to enter into this arrangement for SLC members to direct their clients to the RPSA Panel for all their survey needs. With an increasing number of buyers deciding to get an independent survey on the property they are buying, many look to their conveyancer to help them with an introduction to a reputable surveyor. The RPSA Panel is all about quality assurance and service, and we are sure that the members of SLC and their clients will be delighted with the survey experience that they receive.’

Simon Law, Chairman of the SLC, commented:

‘An increasing number of clients look to their conveyancer to help them to source a survey. What attracted us to the RPSA panel offering is the consistency and quality of the survey products that they offer as well as the fact that their surveyors take the time to explain the survey findings to the client.’

The RPSA Panel offers a service across the whole of England and Wales which means that SLC members’ clients can order a survey regardless of where they are buying a property.
