The latest edition of Landmark’s Commercial Property Trends Report is now live, which provides a detailed examination of the commercial property landscape across England, Wales and Scotland, tracking critical transactional benchmarks such as due diligence activity, planning application volumes and completion levels.

Landmark’s Property Trends Report uses the benchmark year of 2019 as a comparison due to its relative stability.

    • Environmental due diligence activity for Q1 2024 was down 30% vs Q1 2019.
    • Large scale commercial planning applications ended Q1 2024 up 11% vs Q1 2019.
    • Search order volumes in England & Wales fell 12% lower than Q4 2023 volumes, down 45% overall in Q1 2024 vs Q1 2019.
    • The Scottish market paints a more stable picture, with search order volumes up 9% in Q1 2024 vs Q1 2019.
