Curtis Banks announces expanded commercial property services

Curtis Banks, one of the UK’s largest independent SIPP operators, has confirmed its expansion into the UK’s commercial property market with the launch of two new companies.

Curtis Banks has established two new businesses to meet the growing demands of commercial property customers. Rivergate Legal, led by solicitor Gemma Millard, has received approval from the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) and is already moving forward with client instructions. Rivergate offers a wide range of legal services to SIPP, SSAS and open market clients relating to their commercial properties.

Gemma Millard says:

“For some time there has been strong demand for professional legal services combined with practical experience of pension regulation. My team at Rivergate are beginning to meet this demand. With the experience of the firm’s management team we can provide a high quality and effective streamlined legal service to our clients”.

Rivergate will join the Curtis Banks panel of solicitors, and clients retain the choice of solicitor that they wish to use with their property transactions.

Curtis Banks has also established Templemead Property Services which has received RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) accreditation and is currently in the process of recruiting a network of valuers. The business will provide valuation services as well as negotiating other professional services on behalf of the Curtis Banks Group. A number of agreements, that are benefitting Curtis Banks clients, have already been agreed.

Rupert Curtis, Curtis Banks Group CEO, says:

“With over 7,000 commercial properties within our Group, offering an in-house solution to a number of related services makes perfect sense to both us and our clients. Blending these professional services with our SIPP and SSAS experience makes a compelling solution for our clients, and we anticipate demand for both businesses growing in the future”.
