Buoyant residential sector sees instructions soar at property search specialists

Legal residential property search, compliance and IT risk solutions provider Index Property Information West Midlands, has reported a surge in instructions and completions.

“2022 has got off to a record-breaking start,” says Kate Bould, Managing Director of Index Property Information West Midlands.

Bould explains:

“We have recorded a record-breaking number of instructions and fast-paced completions, which are on a par with 2021 levels and the sector’s unprecedented volume in residential property transaction activity, notably around the SDLT breaks.

“2021 was a milestone year for Index West Midlands, and 2022 is on-track to match if not exceed activity in terms of new client wins and the number and range of property searches,” she adds.

“Last year, we added several sector-leading solutions and products to our portfolio of property technology, and we continue to provide unrivalled support to law firms and estate agents that reduces risk, maximises compliance and increases speed and efficiency on every process and transaction.”

Earlier this year, Index extended its digital dashboard of conveyancing solutions with the addition of Armalytix, Credas, Minerva and Navro to its portfolio.

To keep-up with sustained demand for its services, Index West Midlands has recruited into six newly created roles in client services, administration and business support: “Our professional team works with the region’s most active residential and commercial property lawyers, conveyancers and estate agents, and is bigger and stronger than ever before,” Kate says.

She adds:

“Property tech has gained new ground and momentum in the last 12 to 24 months. Some developments and evolutions have been driven by legislative changes, others in response to the record breaking fast pace of the residential property sector. Our reputation as a dynamic provider of conveyancing solutions continues to grow, and is borne-out of our help for the region’s conveyancers and property professionals, and our commitment to deliver world class, best in breed technology on every step of the conveyancing journey.”

Index West Midlands is the number one provider of conveyancing searches, reports and workflow solutions to the local and regional property industry. Its property search and report portfolio covers environmental risk factors, HS2, utility and telecommunications reports. The firm works closely with the region’s Local Authorities, Law Societies, commercial and residential property lawyers and conveyancing solicitors, and is a trusted partner of the Law Society for CQS.
