The Conveyancing Information Executive (CIE) has today announced that SafeMove – a part of Yorkshire Water, has become an Associate Member of the trade body organisation.

SafeMove is a trading arm of Yorkshire Water operating out of its head office in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Conveyancers and property lawyers have been trusting the team with their residential and commercial conveyancing search needs, including the official LLC1 and CON29 searches for each local authority across England and Wales, since 2001.

SafeMove is the provider of the Law Society’s CON29DW Residential and Commercial, drainage and water conveyancing reports for the Yorkshire and North Humber region.

Victoria Farrell, SafeMove Manager, said:

“SafeMove is pleased to join Conveyancing Information Executive (CIE) as Associate Members, which complements our position with Drainage & Water Searches Network.  Both trade bodies have a clear focus on raising the quality and standards within the UK conveyancing search market and delivering high level of confidence in the products used to protect all parties in the process.”

Kevin Brown, Director of CIE, commented:

“SafeMove demonstrate a high level of quality and service to the conveyancing market through its drainage and water searches. SafeMove joining CIE will bring benefits to both parties including all keeping pace with industry changes and ensuring changes are reflected in CIE standards.”
