Lawrence Stephens Solicitors welcome two new Partners and grows conveyancing team

London, October 2019 – Farringdon-based law firm Lawrence Stephens Solicitors has welcome two new Partners to their team of established legal professionals; the pair join the firm’s nine existing Partners and offer over 50 years combined legal experience.

David Freedman joins the firm’s Commercial Real Estate and Secured Lending team and Glen Bayliss, joins the Residential Conveyancing and Succession Planning team.

David acts for a range of leading UK specialist bridging finance lenders, providing extensive advice on property finance, landlord and tenant and commercial conveyancing matters. He also advises on the acquisition, disposal and letting of commercial property and commercial property management. His proactive attitude to meeting clients’ objectives garnered him a number of awards and repeat clients over the years.

At David’s previous firm, he won Best Legal Bridging Law Firm Partner at the Bridging and Commercial Awards in 2010; came highly commended in that category in the Bridging and Commercial Finance Awards in 2013 and was awarded the UK Bridge Finance Service Provider of the Year in the Finance Awards 2013.

Glen also arrives at Lawrence Stephens with a highly distinguished legal career. He qualified in 1997 and won the Law Society Prize for outstanding performance in his final year at Law School in London, where he graduated with a Distinction. He has since established a loyal and expanding client base, both for UK based and offshore clients. Glen brings with him years of experience in all aspects of residential property, including lease extensions and the buying and selling of all types of property, as well as expertise in Succession Planning and advising on estate administration matters.
