Law firm to publish industry report into the challenges faced by traditional estate agents

Leading South East law firm, Rix & Kay have announced that they will be publishing a detailed thought leadership report in the New Year, examining the challenges that traditional estate agents are facing in light of the increasing presence of new alternative online providers.

The report will bring together the findings from a wide range of detailed face-to-face interviews with traditional estate agents from across the South East, that have already been conducted over the last six months.

Key themes have emerged from the interviews and Rix & Kay are now conducting a short online survey to gather more feedback on the most pressing issues already raised by traditional estate agents.

Estate agents can participate in the survey, which takes no more than a few minutes to complete, by clicking here. Estate agents have until 15 December to participate and all completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win a selection box of wine.

Angela Arnold, Partner in Rix & Kay’s Residential Property Team, commented:

“Our aim is to gather expert opinion from the people who best understand the challenges in the residential property market and then report back on common themes and trends. Over the last six months we have met with estate agents from all across the South East who are providing invaluable insight into the challenges they face. We hope that our final report will act as a strategic guide by providing key industry insight for estate agents across the country”.

The report is due to be published in January 2018.
