Thames Water Property Searches Commercial Conveyancing CPD

According to reports, commercial property is expected to rebound once the uncertainty surrounding Brexit subsides.

A wealth of domestic and overseas investors are poised to advance their plans once a clear picture of the UK’s future is formed.

To support those in the commercial property sector, taking advantage of present and future opportunities, Thames Water Property Searches are delighted to announce a new conveyancing CPD event.  The event is special for two reasons; it is the first time Thames on Tour has come to Sussex, and secondly, they are delighted to be partnering with Groundsure.

Sussex has seen several major commercial property developments recently complete, including the £100 million Hannington’s retail development in Brighton which opened in April, housing a mixture of independent and national stores.  In May, Dunmoore, a UK real estate investment and development company, announced it had won planning consent for the development of more than 200,000 sq ft of industrial and trade counter units and a petrol filling station in Billingshurst.

Nicola Higgins, Head of Thames Water Property Searches, comments:

“We are delighted to be working in association with Groundsure to bring a Thames on Tour CPD event to Brighton.  The regionalised commercial conveyancing events have been a great success, and we are very much looking forward to engaging and networking with conveyancers and solicitors based in Sussex and the surrounding counties.”

The event will be held on Tuesday 9th July 2019 from 9am – 1.30pm at the Amex Community Stadium in Brighton.

This free event is designed to inform commercial conveyancers and solicitors on recent developments in the conveyancing industry, incorporating a range of topics from leading organisations and speakers including:
  • Kate Goodall – The Impact of Legislation in Commercial Property Transactions
  • Paul Addison – How to avoid being sued for £2 million
  • Jason Harper – Understanding Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and the management train
Kate Goodall from Groundsure states:

“I’m looking forward to talking about the impact of legislation in commercial property transactions at the upcoming Thames on Tour Brighton event in July.   I will discuss what drives decision making in our risk assessments and will present interesting and insightful case studies to illustrate what this looks like in practice.”

A buffet lunch will be provided, as well as networking opportunities.  Places are strictly limited; please book here.
