UKLTA announces a legaltech roundtable series across the UK
The UKLTA has announced a legaltech roundtable series taking place across the UK during the Autumn, in order to build a greater understanding of the issues around engagement with legal technology and determine how best the UKLTA can help.
The output from the roundtables will be compiled into a series of reports which will help shape the future direction of the UKLTA.
Whilst priority will be given to UKLTA members, the roundtables are open to both UKLTA members and non-members, with non-member companies permitted to attend their first UKLTA event as a guest.
The first event takes place in Birmingham on 1st October, and will be chaired by UKLTA President, Matt Pennington, who commented:
“We have been working hard behind the scenes, laying the foundations and formalising a strategy that will move the association forward.
“Our focus this year is to go out and speak with the legal community so we can build a greater understanding of how law firms and tech providers are currently engaging – what’s working, what isn’t and then identify how the UKLTA could help.
“I’m thrilled to be chairing the first event in our roundtable series, and I look forward to the UKLTA engaging with people from across the legal and legaltech community over the coming months.”
Roundtables have so far been announced in Leeds, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh and Belfast, with the prospect of additional dates and locations being added depending on demand. Places can be booked through the events page of the UKLTA website.
