Osprey Approach’s webinar: billable hour verses value-based pricing
The first episode in a new series of Osprey Approach’s Build Better Habits webinars, will weigh up the pros and cons of traditional billing models versus value-based pricing, and consider how SME law firms are improving client satisfaction and profitability by rethinking how they charge for legal services.
To launch the fourth series, Amy Bruce, marketing director at Osprey Approach, will be joined by Scott Simmons, owner of Legal Balance, a business development coach and trainer for lawyers, and Simon McCrum, owner of McCrum Consultancy and author of The Perfect Legal Business. She will ask the panellists whether the billable hour is still the gold standard of pricing, what their views are on how pricing models impact client relationship, and how tech can influence how firms are pricing their legal services.
Amy Bruce said:
“What a great start to our new series of Build Better Habits webinars – I’m delighted to be joined by Scott and Simon, who have already appeared as guests on Osprey’s Empowering Law Firm Leaders podcast series. Their candid, insightful and practical advice is sure to be invaluable to attendees, as we put the spotlight on pricing strategies and explore the key habit of being client-focused.
“There’s lots of debate around the best pricing strategies that law firms should implement; the impact of AI and technology; ethics and moral duty; and how to manage the change of engrained habits and behaviours effectively. Our event will explore different pricing strategies to prompt a review of the status quo and help firms remain competitive.”
