SLC Member takes Grand Prix Title at 1st ever ESTAS Conveyancer Awards
SLC members collect a number of awards
Members of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC) won a number of awards, including the two top awards of the night at this year’s inaugural ESTAS Conveyancer Awards. The awards came on the back of a customer service survey completed by over 5,000 clients.
Three hundred of the UK’s top conveyancers attended the awards last Friday evening which was sponsored by Searchflow and took place in the ballroom at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London.
The awards were hosted by TV property expert Phil Spencer who said:
“The conveyancing sector doesn’t get enough credit for the work it does with millions of homeowners around the UK helping to make their dreams come true and at The ESTAS we want to highlight that fact.”
SLC member Fletcher Longstaff Property Lawyers took the coveted Grand Prix title as the highest ranked single office in the UK, as well as the Midlands regional award as rated by clients. In addition, SLC member Countrywide Conveyancing Services won the gold for Best National Firm, MJP Solicitors took the East of England Regional award and Best in County in Norfolk, and The Partnership took Best in County for Surrey.
Simon Brown, founder of The ESTAS Group who also recognise estate agents and mortgage advisors, told the audience:
“It’s clear that the conveyancing sector is ready for this type of feedback platform and award scheme. We live in a world where the consumer decision making process is influenced more and more by customer reviews so The ESTAS provides a kite mark of excellent service for any property professional involved in the home moving process. Just taking part in The ESTAS sends a clear message to clients and competitors that a firm is serious about delivering great service and prepared to prove it”.
Simon Law, Chairman of the SLC who attended the awards said:
“I’m absolutely delighted at the success of SLC members at the awards. The Society believes that its members provide a service that is essentially client focused as they are engaged only in the provision of conveyancing. As specialist property lawyers they can keep fully abreast of all legal, technical and system developments and by the provision of the Society’s Guides keep their clients well informed about the process. Many congratulations to Fletcher Longstaff, Countrywide, MJP Solicitors and The Partnership.” Entry for the 2018 competition is already open and you can see the full list of this year’s winners here https://conveyancer.theestas.com/conveyancer-of-the-year-awards-winners-2017/
