In December 2025, HMLR made the latest tranche of requisition data available to qualifying practices; that is practices with 10 or more completed applications for the period April to September 2025. The data is available here. if you have not checked your own firm’s performance yet, we strongly urge you to do so.
As we noted in the 2025 Risk Agenda, requisition rates are a cause for concern and we are reviewing the latest data with a view to informing decisions about action we can take with CLC practices to drive improvement.
Whatever your practice’s avoidable requisition rate, we strongly encourage every practice to review their internal processes and make changes where necessary and identify whether there any knowledge gaps. High quality applications protect buyers, lenders and your practice and save wasted time and cost.
HMLR’s training hub offers an extensive suite of resources and training material to help practices improve their processes and knowledge and get applications right the first time.
