Leading ESTAS winners trained at the Conveyancing Academy
The Conveyancing Academy has trained conveyancers from more than a third of the winners of the prestigious ESTAS Awards, it has been revealed.
Between them, the companies who have trained staff with the Academy won an impressive twenty-four conveyancing awards which recognise outstanding customer service at the recent 2021 ceremony.
In total, seven of the twenty leading companies who picked up the top conveyancing honours, have used the Academy, the official training provider of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers and the Conveyancing Association, for training, said its Business Development Manager James Smith.
They are Birchall Blackburn in the North West, which won six awards, Poole Alcock in the West Midlands and North West, which won five awards, Thomas Legal in London and the South, which also won five, Newport-based Convey Law, which won three, MJP Conveyancing in Norfolk and Evolve Law in Buckinghamshire which won two each and Countrywide Solicitors which took home overall Silver in Best National Conveyancer Group in the UK.
The Conveyancing Academy is the only specialist conveyancing academy in the UK and has trained hundreds of students since it was established in 2014 as an online training and apprenticeship provider.
It works with many leading conveyancing legal practices nationwide, helping them to develop their staff and to build their business.
Its Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC)-accredited courses are unique to the industry. They enable companies to train staff without any previous experience to become fully qualified Conveyancers within 3-4 years, or train Conveyancers with previous experience to a higher level.
James Smith commented:
“It is great testament to the very high standard of the training provided by the Conveyancing Academy that so many of our clients have picked up these valued awards. At the centre of this training is a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
“The ESTAS Awards are based directly on customer reviews made through ESTAS’ online platform and so the winners of each award directly reflect outstanding customer service standards at that business. This is why winning an honour from ESTAS is so well thought of in the property and legal conveyancing industries.”
The Academy’s specialist courses have also been recognised by major Government funding bodies with funding awarded to provide the courses free of charge to conveyancing staff and businesses.
In England, courses are 95% Government-funded for all non-Levy paying businesses (those with an annual wage bill of less than £3 million).
In Wales, the Academy has a limited funding partnership with Cardiff and Vale College supported by the Welsh Government to offer its courses free of charge to legal practices in Wales with around ten spaces a month currently available in the 2021-2022 academic year.
The Conveyancing Academy Practising Conveyancer Legal Diploma teaches the skills novices need to become a proficient conveyancer within 6 to 12 months and the Academy’s CLC Level 4 and CLC Level 6 courses develop staff and enable them to achieve qualification as Licensed Conveyancers.
The ESTAS are the largest awards for the residential property industry and honour the best agents, conveyancers and mortgage advisors in the UK.
The awards are powered by the ESTAS online customer review platform, meaning that they are directly based on customer satisfaction. The platform is a valuable tool in enabling conveyancing and property professionals to demonstrate the customer service standards they deliver for their clients throughout the year.
ESTAS reviews can only be completed at the end of the property transaction and a strict verification process ensures reviews are genuine. The 2021 Awards shortlist was calculated following the evaluation of 60,000 client reviews.
