HM Land Registry: UK House Price Index June 2021
The latest UK House Price Index June 2021 data shows the changes in house prices for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland up to June 2021.
The June data shows:
- on average, house prices have increased 4.5% since May 2021
- there has been an annual price rise of 13.2% which makes the average property in the UK valued at £265,668.
- In England, house prices rose 4.9% between May and June 2021 and rose 13.3% annually taking the average property price to £284,029.
- In London, house prices rose 2.5% between May and June 2021 and rose 6.3% annually taking the average property price to £510,299.
- In Wales, house prices rose 4.6% between May and June 2021 and rose 16.7% annually taking the average property price to £195,291.
- The regional data for England shows that:
- Yorkshire and the Humber experienced the greatest monthly price rise, up by 7.1%
- London saw the lowest monthly price growth, at 2.5%
- The North West experienced the greatest annual price rise, up by 18.6%
- London saw the lowest annual price growth, with a rise of 6.3%
