Groundsure achieves Silver ESG Rating from Ecovadis

Groundsure is delighted to announce that they have received the silver award from Ecovadis for its Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) performance and are now in the Top 15% of companies audited by Ecovadis this year.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 130,000+ rated companies. They are recording rising scores across their platform as businesses make encouraging progress on their ESG policies, making our promotion from Bronze last year to Silver a particular achievement.

Building its BCorp certification success in September 2023, which has added additional endorsement of Groundsure’s approach, they have continued to implement the policies and commitments for this year. They have improved across the board on factors covering environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Successes have also included establishing our current emissions footprint, refreshing recruitment, onboarding and training with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) in mind and continuing to work with the community.

The Ecovadis platform helps organisations manage sustainability in their supply chain and organisations within those supply chains to drive and demonstrate their ESG competence. It is also becoming a key procurement compliance requirement to provide many leading organisations. For example, Groundsure is required to achieve Ecovadis status to support Natwest bank with Siteguard environmental risk reports for their valuation network.
