Conveyancing Foundation launches earthquake appeal
Conveyancing Foundation launches an appeal in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Turkey and Syria earthquake relief efforts.

Since 2010 the Conveyancing Foundation’s Charity Lotto has helped to raise almost £1,000,000 for local and national charities.
This March sees the Conveyancing Foundation launch an emergency appeal in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Turkey and Syria earthquake relief efforts, with the Foundation’s industry renowned Charity Lotto being opened to the public.
By participating in the Foundation’s Charity Lotto Prize Draw supporters will be raising funds that will help DEC charities support survivors in Turkey and Syria after the devastating earthquakes:

- £20 could provide blankets to keep two people warm
- £25 could provide emergency food for a family for ten days
- £50 could provide emergency shelter for two families
Over the coming months the Foundation hopes to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the appeal and asks all to take part in their Charity Lotto and make a £20 donation to be entered into the prize draw.
Participants will be in with a chance of winning:

- Luxury weekend break for two
- £150 in M&S vouchers
- An Echo Dot smart speaker
- 5x Individual bottles of champagne
The Conveyancing Foundation are also pleased to announce that they have been chosen as the British Conveyancing Awards official Charity Partner for the second year running.
The awards’ organisers have continued to be impressed by its principles and aims of improving wellbeing in the industry and supporting charitable causes. The awards’ organisers have also backed the Foundations plans for significant growth in 2023, including delivering industry wide surveys, a brand new charity grants scheme, recruitment of new Charity Partners and the appointment of Today’s Media Managing Director David Opie, as Charity Ambassador.
All donations at the Awards will be allocated to the Foundation’s Earthquake Appeal. The Foundation expresses its sincere thanks to the awards Sponsors who have shown immense generosity through supporting the appeal and donating prizes.
