Conveyancing Association reveals 2025 Annual Conference and Charity Dinner details
The Conveyancing Association (CA) – the leading professional body for the conveyancing industry – has today (12th September 2024) announced the first details of its 2025 Annual Conference & Charity Dinner.
Taking place on Thursday 30th January once again at the Hilton Deansgate Hotel in Manchester, with Landmark Information Group as its Headline Sponsor, next year’s Conference is entitled ‘Past, present and future – where is the conveyancing industry up to and what can we expect in the future?’ and will reflect on where the sector currently is and where it is heading.
In 2020, the CA identified 2030 as a realistic target for achieving a digital end-to-end conveyancing process, and with 2025 being the half-way point, the Association wants to use its next Conference to take stock of where the industry currently stands and to chart a course for the next five years.
A full list of sessions will be announced shortly, however the morning of the Conference will focus on how the economy in 2025 will affect the conveyancing industry, with other sessions covering how to increase profitability, productivity and profile. The afternoon sessions will take a deep dive into how products such as AI are already helping member firms, and what to expect in the future.
As usual the Annual Conference will be chaired by CA Advisor, Eddie Goldsmith, and the CA can announce that its key-note speaker is Behavioural Economist, Roger Martin-Fagg, who combines insight into financial and policy worlds with management strategy.
The Conference and Annual Dinner is open to all CA member firms, legal and affiliate, and attendance can also be secured for non-members for a charge.
Registration is now open and is available here.
Sponsorship opportunities exist in areas including stands at the accompanying exhibition, plus post-Conference Drinks Reception and the Charity Dinner which will take place in the evening and will once again be raising money for a worthy cause.
There are a number of Annual Conference & Dinner sponsors who will be attending the event and exhibiting during the day including: Landmark Information Group, PEXA, Conveyancing Data Services, WNS, Post Partner, Armalytix, Dye & Durham UK, Coadjute, inCase, Thirdfort, LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions, Dual Asset, Redbrick Solutions, Legal Eye and Howden.

Nicky Heathcote, Non-Executive Chair of The Conveyancing Association, said:
“The 2025 CA Annual Conference is situated at something of a half-way point for the industry.
“In 2020 we identified 2030 as the year in which a full end-to-end digital conveyancing process could be realistically achieved, and half-way towards that point it’s important we understand where we are, the progress that has been made, the impact for conveyancing firms, and what happens next.
“Returning to Manchester, where we had a fantastic event in 2024, the Conference will feature a variety of sessions looking at where the industry stands at this moment in time in terms of transforming its process to match 21st Century customers’ expectations, plus what member firms are doing to increase profitability and visibility, and how generative AI is already helping to shape ‘Conveyancing 2030’.
“Our full list of sessions for the Conference will be announced shortly, but we can today announce that our key-note speaker is Roger Martin-Fagg, who specialises in making economic activity, trends and indicators understandable and will cut through the jargon to show how all this impacts on the property market and conveyancing firms specifically.
“Registration to attend is now open, as our Sponsorship opportunities including both exhibition packages and an array of dinner/drinks reception/lanyard and bottle sponsors.
“Any firm interested in sponsoring should contact the CA Secretariat for further information and to receive a Sponsorship brochure.
“With just over four months to go, we are all looking forward to bringing our membership, and the entire industry together in Manchester, for what promises to be a highly-informative and enjoyable day and night. We look forward to seeing you there.”
