O’Neill Patient acquires broker platform Conveyancing Alliance
O’Neill Patient LLP (ONP) group, one of the UK’s leading conveyancing practices and a top 70 law firm, has today completed the acquisition of broker platform Conveyancing Alliance Limited (CAL) from ULS Technology Plc.
ONP specialises in conveyancing services for residential and commercial sale, purchases, remortgages and lease extensions. ONP’s state of the art technology makes it amongst the most efficient conveyancers in the industry, providing innovation, speed and the highest quality service.
CAL is a broker platform that focuses specifically on the needs of successful brokers, estate agents and their clients. It has similar values to ONP, also priding itself on offering exceptional service.
CAL offers conveyancing services from a panel of leading law firms, including ONP. It will continue to provide access to this range of law firms.
Similarly, ONP will continue to work closely with broker panel managers throughout the UK. ONP places great value on the strong relationships it has built up with brokers and panel managers over the past 20 years and will continue to work closely with these contacts in the way that it always has.
CAL is the second purchase ONP has made in the past eight months, the first being of London-based Cavendish Legal Group in March. The firm has ambitious expansion plans, with further acquisitions planned for next year.
ONP and CAL both pride themselves on their flexible and personal service and on providing brokers and estate agents with access to dedicated support. ONP employees work closely with introducers to give this personal contact, not only for the duration of one case, but every time a broker, estate agent, or panel manager deals with the firm so they can build up a relationship with people who know them and know the way they work.
Andy Scaife, CEO of ONP, says:
“Conveyancing Alliance is an exciting acquisition for ONP. It is a great business which we intend to continue to operate as it currently does. We have consistently grown our market share by providing the very best service along with the very best technology platform, making our service one of the fastest and most comprehensive in the country. The ONP Group continues to trade well, as it has throughout the year, demonstrating the strength of the business.
“I want to emphasise the importance that we place on all introducers, panel managers, brokers and estate agents. We have worked hard over a number of years to build close working relationships and we intend to continue to work with all of our customer partners, across the industry, to provide the same exemplary service we have become well known for.”
Mark Snape, CEO of Conveyancing Alliance, says:
“Being a part of ONP is a perfect partnership for us. We have very successfully worked with ONP for a number of years. Their approach to conveyancing and to high quality, personal service, while using market leading technology to achieve a quick turnaround mirrors our own. With the ambitions of the ONP Group to invest and grow, we will be able to continue to expand and enhance our services to both brokers and estate agents.”
