Livingbridge invests in leading provider of tech-enabled conveyancing for UK property market

Livingbridge, one of the UK’s leading mid-market private equity investors, today announces its investment in Simply Conveyancing Property Lawyers, a leading provider of tech-enabled conveyancing services within the UK residential property market.

Founded in 2000 by Ashley and Susan King as a panel manager for estate agents, the Company established its own conveyancing services business in 2009 and has become one of the fastest growing conveyancing companies in the UK.

Simply is ahead of the curve technologically, being the first property law firm in the UK to integrate Alexa and is at the forefront of its market in embracing tech, giving it a strong position to invest further in top level service for clients. The Group has invested over £1m in the last three years, developing its proprietary, state of the art and industry leading conveyancing platform, eConvey.

Since the beginning of 2017, Simply has grown its transaction volumes by 44% in a housing market where transaction volumes are currently flat year on year. Through investment in technology and its processes, Simply has bucked the broader negative trend in the market as it has enabled high levels of productivity.

The investment, made through Livingbridge’s Enterprise 2 fund, will be hugely beneficial to Simply’s clients, both agents and end users, with investment in tech and staff development aimed at further enhancing the services on offer. Simply is excited to be at the cutting edge of the industry and through this investment believes it will be able to take advantage of the opportunities in the market to win through putting the customer first.
