ANDREW STENNING – JUDGING THE MODERN LAW CONVEYANCING AWARDS 2017
Andrew Stenning, Managing Director of leading legal search specialists Searches UK has, for the second year running, taken part in judging at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards, which will be taking place on Thursday 13th July 2017.
The Modern Law Conveyancing Awards were launched in 2012, following the liberalisation of legal services. They are now a leading legal event, with the main aim being to identify and celebrate talent, success and innovation in the conveyancing industry.
The winners of each award are carefully determined by an expert panel of judges with an abundance of experience in the conveyancing sector. This year’s judges include Eddie Goldsmith, Chairman of The Conveyancing Association. Simon Law, Chairman of The Society of Licensed Conveyancers (SLC), Heather Cameron, Managing & Communications Manager for Today’s Conveyancer, James Sherwood-Rodgers, Chairman of CoPSO Limited and current Managing Director of Searches UK, Andrew Stenning.
Andrew is a successful entrepreneur who has accrued a wealth of experience in the conveyancing sector, both as an estate agent and as a practice manager for a law firm in Sussex specialising in commercial and residential conveyancing. Andrew founded Searches UK in 2008; a conveyancing search company which provides solicitors and conveyancers with a professional yet personalised standard of service and care. Andrew’s professionalism and determination has been praised and acknowledged by a variety of awarding bodies and in 2015 Andrew won ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Sussex Business Awards. Searches UK is now regarded as one of the leading search providers in England and Wales. In 2016, Searches UK was acquired by Fitzalan Partners, a NAHL Group PLC company.
Judges were asked to review each category, which includes Conveyancing Firm of the Year, Search Provider of the Year, Innovation of the Year, Client Care of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Best Use of Technology, Property Team of the Year, Outstanding Commitment to Training, Conveyancer of the Year, Outstanding Achievement of the Year, and the sought-after Lifetime Achievement Award.
