Anne Lucking joins the Board of Property Codes Compliance Board (PCCB)
The Property Codes Compliance Board (PPCB) which regulates the Search Code has appointed Anne Lucking, Managing Director of Index Property Information Group, as a new Board member.
Anne is the nominated representative for the Council of Property Search Organisations (CoPSO) on the Board and replaces Alan Thorogood of Infotrack who relinquishes his post by rotation after 6 years.
Kate Davies, the Chairman of PCCB said:
‘We are delighted to welcome Anne on to the Board as an industry representative. Anne brings a wealth of experience both in her role as MD of Index, and through her experience as a front-line conveyancer with 10 years in practice. I am sure that Anne will make an important contribution to the PCCB as we face up to the challenges of a fast-changing world in the provision of vital information to prospective home buyers and their lawyers.
‘On behalf of the Board, I would like to take the opportunity to thank Alan Thorogood for his hard work and excellent contribution to the Board over the last 6 years. It has been a pleasure working with Alan.’
Anne Lucking commented:
‘I am very pleased to be joining the PCCB at a time of much change in the search market, a great example of which is the centralisation of Local Land Charges by her Majesty’s Land Registry (HMLR). I look forward to actively representing CoPSO on the Board of the PCCB.’
Anne Lucking will serve for an initial term of 3 years as a Director of PCCB.
