Osprey Approach Advances It’s New Era With Second Core Product Release Of 2025

Osprey Approach, a leading independent provider of cloud-based legal practice management software, has announced its second core product release of 2025, continuing its investment in the company’s ‘new era’ development programme. The latest update enhances flexibility, collaboration, and data visibility across the Osprey platform, helping law firms manage information and workflows more effectively.

Building on the foundations laid in 2024, Osprey v1.5 introduces improvements to data capture and management, alongside updates to client and matter tools, contact records, and deadline tracking. All improvements and updates are implemented from customer feedback and all help Osprey towards its mission of making running a law firm easier.

Smarter data management

The release refines Osprey’s custom data pages, enabling users to organise and edit information more efficiently within client and matter workspaces. Enhanced navigation, inline editing, and real-time validation make it easier to maintain accurate records and produce reliable reports.

Improved collaboration and compliance

Enhanced client and matter notes provide clearer audit trails and better visibility of case progress. Updated contact records also include a notes section to support Lexcel compliance and improve record accuracy.

Key date management

Refinements to key date tools offer greater control when scheduling and monitoring deadlines, including Outlook synchronisation, attendance tracking, and customisable table views. Whilst useful for all legal professionals, these key date updates had legal aid practices in mind to ensure easy management of court hearing, police attendance, and team availability.

Strengthening integration capabilities

The recent introduction of an integration with Perfect Portal  follows the recent additions of Minerva and Katchr, underlining Osprey’s commitment to building an open, connected platform. Together, these integrations help firms streamline onboarding, connect performance data, and manage client communication more seamlessly.

Alex Hiscutt, head of product at Osprey Approach, said: –  “This release continues our focus on providing practical tools that strengthen connectivity and control across law firms’ operations. By expanding our integration network and improving everyday workflows, we’re helping firms make better use of the data and technology they already have.”

Commitment to the Legal sector

With more than 30 years in the industry, Osprey remains committed to helping small and medium-sized law firms achieve long term success in a competitive, compliance-heavy sector.

The latest update is available now to all current Osprey Approach clients, with training services offered as part of the roll-out. Firms interested in partnering with Osprey may book a consultation and product demo to view all the features in action, which make running a law firm easier.
