Conveyancing Matters presents live event: Conveyancing Disasters – When It All Goes Wrong!
Conveyancing Matters presents a live event (the last of the year): Conveyancing Disasters – When It All Goes Wrong!
On Wednesday 8th November 2023, Stuart Forsdike of PCS Legal and Lorraine Richardson of Adapt Law, will be hosting their final live ‘Conveyancing Matters’ event of the year at The Hoxton 7, London EC2A 3JT.
Conveyancers are spinning many plates and dealing with people often leads to disasters both of a serious and humorous nature – so their CPD chat at the event will be Conveyancing Disasters – When It All Goes Wrong!. Stu and Lorraine will consider some common pitfalls and how these can be avoided and, as ever, they will bring their unique humour and practical experience to the topic!
Conveyancing Matters is a YouTube Channel delivered by two experienced property professionals. Stu and Lorraine discuss all things property and offer guidance and advice which is useful to brokers, estate agents, licensed conveyancers or solicitors and anyone involved in the property industry.
Stu and Lorraine started Conveyancing Matters during lockdown to offer advice and commentary on the conveyancing process. The purpose of the channel is to talk about a wide range of property related matters with particular focus on conveyancing practitioners. In their weekly videos, Stu and Lorraine talk to guests from the property industry, they issue monthly news bulletins and also include chats on technical conveyancing content together with opinion pieces and discussions on topical issues of relevance to conveyancers.
Recent episodes of Conveyancing Matters have featured industry leading guests, including Noel Hunter OBE, Chairman, Consumer Code for Homebuilders, Paul Shamplina, Founder of Landlord Action, Tej Singh, Property Investing Guru, Mike Harlow, the Deputy Chief Land Registrar and Simon Lumb from the National Deeds Depository.
Since the beginning of 2023, Lorraine and Stu have launched a Conveyancing Matters subscription service which offer subscribers new, exclusive CPD webinars each month, other conveyancing content and annual subscribers can attend the live events for free.

“We aim to bring some colour to the topic of conveyancing.”
Lorraine added:
“Our live events offer CPD with a difference – no sitting in a conference room with lukewarm coffee.
“People can come to our events to network and relax with a drink as well as pick up invaluable CPD content.”
