Phil Spencer reveals best agent, conveyancer and broker firms for customer service at the prestigious ESTAS Awards
Phil Spencer revealed the best agent, conveyancer and broker firms for customer service at the prestigious ESTAS Awards on Friday.
The largest annual event for the UK residential property industry took place last Friday when the prestigious ESTAS Awards sponsored by Coadjute were hosted in London.
The unique event sees agents, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and suppliers gather under one roof for one day of the year. This year The ESTAS celebrated their 20th birthday with Phil Spencer, who has hosted every year since their inception in 2004, announcing the winners in front of audience of 1,000 of the UK’s top property professionals.
Spencer addressed the audience:
“What started as a small luncheon celebrating the hard work of a few estate agents has become what it is today, the biggest and most prestigious awards in the UK residential property sector.
“It’s your passion for what you do that make The ESTAS the most important day in the property calendar and with its success the competition gets harder and harder.”
The awards are powered by the ESTAS customer review platform which highlights the best agents, conveyancers and brokers for customer service in the UK. The winners are determined purely on verified reviews from customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received through the whole moving process.
Firms were recognised by postcode, regionally and nationally. National Grand Prix Awards were announced for the Best Single Office in the three sectors of agency, conveyancing and mortgage broking.
The best broker title was won by Affinity Group based in Essex. The Best Conveyancer Award went to Thomas Legal in Gloucester for the second year running. In agency there were Grand Prix titles for Infinity Property Solutions in Harrow in the landlord category and Winkworth Kingsbury in London for tenants. The Grand Prix gold for Best Estate Agent Office was won by BuckleyBrown based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
One of the highlights of the day was the announcement of a new category – The Coadjute Working Together Better Award – celebrating the collaboration between agents and conveyancers.
The winners, announced by Dan Salmons CEO at Coadjute, were agent C Residential working with Aconveyancing Tamworth.
Salmons added:
“On behalf of the Coadjute team, warm congratulations to all the winners this year at The ESTAS.
“As headline partner Coadjute was delighted to see so many outstanding achievements recognised across the industry from everyone involved.
“It has been a real pleasure to support The ESTAS this year and we look forward to enabling the property industry to work better together in the coming years.”
In the national group categories AV Rillo won Best National Conveyancer whilst in agency there were notable golds for White & Brooks in Sussex, The Property Centre and Hunters Group who won Best National Agency Group for the first time.
As well as regional awards The ESTAS announced ‘Best in Postcode’ winners with 322 firms claiming one of these titles.
The Supplier of the Year category was won for the first time by iam sold, with Agent Rainmaker taking the silver and bronze awarded to Spectre.
Individual staff were also honoured in The ESTAS People Awards – sponsored by PayProp – recognised outstanding individual contributions to customer service. Twenty Highly Commended trophies were presented.
Simon Brown, Founder of The ESTAS, said
“What we’ve created over the last 20 years goes way beyond an annual awards ceremony.
“ESTAS is now a community of likeminded property professionals – agents, conveyancers, brokers AND suppliers all focused on one mission – to deliver the best possible service they can to their clients.”
