Taylor Rose owner unveils corporate rebrand to support strategic vision and accelerated growth aspirations
AIIC Group rebrand comes at time of significant transformation for the consumer-focused legal services group
London 22 September 2022 – AIIC Holdings (‘AIIC’), the holding company behind leading independent law firm Taylor Rose MW, today announces a full rebranding setting itself up as a group of companies with aligned values to grow and share infrastructure.
The merger of Taylor Rose in 2015 with well-established London firm Tucker Turner Kingsley Wood LLP saw the group set up a newly created holding company, TTKW Ltd, now renamed AIIC Holdings Ltd. It then embarked on a successful and selective M&A and investment programme, which has been used to enhance the business’ other growth opportunities. Over the last seven years, the Group has invested in Forshaws Davies Ridgway LLP, a full-service law firm based in the North West; the prop-tech platform SlothMove; KingsleyWood, a consultant-based law firm that enables a diverse team of legal specialists to deliver new standards of excellence; and RCP, a legal ‘think tank’.
The timing of the new corporate brand aligns with the significant transformation that is taking place across the AIIC Group. The AIIC Group is a provider of technology-enabled consumer legal services which provide innovative client-focused solutions to customers of otherwise conventional services. AIIC aims to reshape the future of legal services by making a step change with brighter thinking and people-focused solutions, combined with scalability and innovation.
The new brand identity embodies the renewed sense of purpose, energy, and enthusiasm of all its employees, indicative of a company making significant progress across various parts of the legal ecosystem. It marks another major milestone in the evolution of AIIC, as it continues to reinvent itself and take a fresh, forward-looking approach to the legal services market. The new branding is rooted in the Group’s heritage, technology, and people – three drivers that have made the company and its portfolio what it is today.
Since its inception, AIIC has grown very quickly, as a group, now employing c.550 staff across 30 offices located mainly in London and the South-East of England, in addition to the c.500 consultants and their support staff operating via its legal platform. As a group, AIIC supported Taylor Rose in its acquisition of McMillan Williams Solicitors Limited, thus creating the 59th largest law firm in the UK by revenue (as judged by ‘The Lawyer’ publication).
Adrian Jaggard, founding Director of Taylor Rose Solicitors, and CEO of the AIIC Group said:
“We are delighted to be announcing a completely new rebrand today as AIIC Group, a collection of progressive companies that will reshape the future of legal and related value-add services.
“Since the merger with TTKW LLP in 2015, the Group has been very active at increasing its footprint nationally both organically and through a number of targeted acquisitions which have been successfully integrated. The ongoing consolidation of small-to-medium-sized high street law firms, in particular in the conveyancing sector, is expected to generate further opportunities for us, specifically through an expansion programme in key areas and hubs, including the North-West, North-East, Midlands and South-West.
“We believe our technology-focused model, which supports both the development of our traditional practices through M&A as well the fast-growth of our consultancy operations, puts us in an extremely advantageous position as the legal services sector continues to undergo a paradigm shift.”
