Free-to-sell estate agent, Strike, rolls out nationwide
London, UK. Thursday 6th January 2022: Strike, the first free-to-sell estate agent (selling homes for free), is rolling out across the UK after successfully providing its services in the Midlands and the North of England.
With the aim of making moving easy, Strike is the UK’s fastest growing estate agent, and is now available nationwide.
As part of the national launch there are now estate agents on the ground up and down the country to provide a full estate agency service including valuation, photography, floorplans, negotiations and sales progression, alongside the existing virtual offering.
Using Strike and avoiding estate agent fees could save sellers over £4,050 in commission, based on the national average house price. It is estimated that Strike sellers have saved a total of £24,735,451 in fees.
The digital-first estate agent promises homeowners the simplest, most intuitive way to buy and sell homes from listing to completion, via the free mobile app, with optional add-ons available. Strike earns a fee from partner companies advertised on the platforms every time someone uses them. The services include free mortgage advice and removal services.
To date, Strike has sold £5.42bn of property, and is the fastest to get a sale agreed – 40 days – out of the top 10 estate agent brands in the country. In total Strike has already helped 56,681 people to move.
The nationwide launch is being supported by a major TV, radio, OOH, print and online marketing campaign with a particular focus on London channels and spaces. The national rollout will focus on London, the South West, the South East, and East of England with all areas of the UK now offered the free service.
